Two beloved teachers were killed in the shooting.

Irma Garcia has been identified as the second teacher killed in a Texas school shooting.

She was a mum-of-four.

The 46-year-old teacher worked as a 4th-grade teacher at Robb Elementary School in Texas.

She has been described as a “kind and loving” teacher.

Her family also described her as a “hero” who lost her life protecting her students.

A fundraiser has been set up to help support Irma’s family, including her four children.

“A wife and mother to 4 children. Sweet, kind, loving. Fun with the greatest personality too.

“She sacrificed herself protecting the kids in her classroom.”

Funds raised will be donated to Irma’s family. They will also be used for her funeral expenses.

Irma’s nephew also penned a heartbreaking tribute to her on Facebook.

“My tia did not make it, she sacrificed herself protecting the kids in her classroom.

He described his aunt as a hero, as well as a “loving teacher”.

44-year-old teacher Eva Mireles was also shot dead in the horror shooting.

Her family said their hearts are “in a million pieces” over the loss of Eva.

The teacher was loved by all of her students. She had been working as an educator for 17 years.

It is believed both teachers died after shielding their pupils from gunshots.

Her family also called for an end to gun violence.

“These children are innocent. Rifles should not be easily available to all,” her aunt said.

As well as the two beloved teachers, 19 children were also killed in the shooting.

The 18-year-old gunman was also shot dead by officers.

The gunman has been identified as Salvador Ramos.

According to reports, the shooter also killed his grandmother before the school shooting.
