It’s a girl for golfer Shane Lowry and his wife Wendy.
The couple has welcomed an adorable new member into their family this week.
Wendy gave birth to their darling girl at the National Maternity Hospital and she has the sweetest name.
Dad-of-two Shane confirmed her arrival by posting the cutest photo on Instagram.
Shane is holding his baby girl Ivy and looking out the hospital window in the moving photo.
Ivy is wrapped up in a white blanket and has her hand placed on her dad’s chest.

“Welcome to this world Ivy Lowry,” he wrote alongside the photo.
The National Maternity Hospital commented: “Warmest congratulations, what a gorgeous photo, welcome to the world baby Ivy.”
Brian O’Driscoll added: “Big congrats you guys.”
“Congrats Shane, Wendy, and big sister Iris on the safe arrival of your newest no1 supporter,” one fan shared.
Another added: “Congratulations Shane, Wendy & Iris on the safe arrival of little Ivy….. What a beautiful name.”
The name Ivy is of English origin and symbolises eternity.
Shane and Wendy are already parents to 4-year-old daughter Iris.
The dad-of-two is due to travel to America for this month’s Ryder Cup, but let’s hope he can squeeze in as much quality time with little Ivy before jetting off Stateside.
