The beach was temporarily closed while officials from Palma Aquarium dealt with the situation. According to Sky News, the shark had a hook in its mouth which caused serious damage. The aquarium workers were forced to put it down as the damage from the injuries were "irreversible". The beach was later reopened but swimmers were not allowed to go too far out to sea.Yup, that's a shark!
