Gardaí discovered the bodies of three people at a house in Lixnaw last night.
A neighbour alerted Gardaí shortly after 9 pm last night when she found the woman’s body.
They found the bodies of a woman in her 60s and a man in his 20s inside the home.
The body of a man in his 60s was found near the back of the house.
It is believed they were all members of the one family.
All three had gunshot wounds.
A firearm was also discovered at the scene.
According to reports, the incident is a suspected murder-suicide.
The three people are reportedly a wife, husband, and their son.
The scene has been preserved and an investigation is underway.
Gardaí stated that they’re not looking for anyone else in relation to the shooting at this time.
