Get those Christmas lists ready!

I don’t want to wish time away, but Christmas will be here before we know it.

Have I already started my Christmas shopping?

Possibly…

And maybe you should too.

Smyths Toys Ireland has issued a warning to parents ahead of the Christmas shopping period.

The retailer is urging them to be prepared as numerous stores are set to experience shipping delays and product shortages as the holiday period approaches.

According to The Irish Mirror, a spokesperson for the toy shop revealed that parents should consider starting their festive shopping extra early this year.

“Smyths Toys advises you to shop early for Christmas,” they warned parents

“This is always a good idea so as to avoid the rush and to avoid disappointment.”

The spokesperson added: “It is particularly important to shop early this year as global shipping and container shortages are causing supply issues in many parts of our lives.

They have advised customers to sign up for their new catalogue or drop into the store from September 24th where you can pick up a 300-page Smyths catalogue for free.

“This will give you the time to make those key gift decisions,” they added.

Let’s avoid all disappointment and tears on Christmas Day by starting the shopping as early as possible.

The year has already flown by in the blink of an eye so we all know December will be here in an instant.
