It’s the rumour that simply won’t go away, and now even bookies seem to believe in them, and have currently suspended all bookings taken on whether or not Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is indeed expecting Liam Payne’s baby.
“After being flooded with bets over the last 48 hours on Cheryl announcing she is pregnant before the year is out, we have decided to pull the plug on this market for now as the sheer intensity of this gamble suggests an announcement could be imminent,” one UK bookmarker told The Sun newspaper.
While Jessica Bridge from Ladbrokes said: “The odds have been falling as quick as Cheryl’s ‘bump’ has been growing, and we’ve been left with no option but to suspend betting on the happy couple announcing they’re expecting a bundle of joy.”
The Internet has been alight with speculations of late, as the 33-year-old, who is currently in the middle of divorcing her second husband, Jean-Bernard Frenandez-Versini, has kept herself out of the spotlight and also been fairly quiet on social media. Chery and Liam, 23, started seeing each other earlier this year, and by May had gone public with their relationship, posting a series of loved-up snaps on Instagram.
But stepping out in Paris over the last few days, the pop-princess did little to dispel the rumours as she kept herself covered up in big coats – despite the pretty summery temperatures in the French capital.
But it was this snap, from when she attended the L’Oreal Gold Obsession Party on Sunday, really seemed to sway everyone that Chery and Liam are indeed set to expand their union.
There is no denying that Cheryl looks a lot healthier and sporting a fuller figure than her normally very slender frame, and if you ask us, that most definitively looks like a baby bump to our trained eyes!
Interestingly, these snaps were released the same day that Cheryl was forced to disable comments on her Instagram posts after fans bombarded her with questions about whether she is starting a family with Payne.
