We get it, it's cold.
Met Éireann has extended its snow and ice weather warning for three counties.
A status yellow warning will now be valid for Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo from 6am today, Wednesday, to 7am tomorrow, Thursday.
This comes after Cork, Tipperary and Waterford were affected by an additional warning issued this morning
that was valid until midday today. Now it appears as though the blustery conditions are only set to continue for Donegal, Leitrim, and Sligo.
This comes after a snow and ice warning was issued for 13 counties yesterday, as certain parts of the country geared up for a
steady amount of snowfall.
The UK Met Office also issued a similar warning for counties in the North. Antrim, Armagh, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry will all included in the warning.
Most snow is expected to clear by later this morning, with highs of 2 and 3 degrees expected across the country. until nightfall.
"Tonight will be very cold with frost or ice," Met Éireann warned. "Showers, some wintry, will continue to feed into northern and western coastal counties with clear spells elsewhere.
"Showers becoming more frequent towards dawn in the north and northwest with some falls of sleet or snow. Lowest temperatures of -2 to 0 degrees with a moderate northwest breeze, freshening on coasts towards dawn."
If the past day or so if anything to go by, it is entirely likely that this snow and ice warning will be extended yet again before the week is out.
Wrap is warm, lads. It's gonna be a cold one.
