The story behind this photo is unique, to say the least.
Wigan Athletic star Ryan Colclough had a very busy day yesterday – starting in a League One soccer game and then becoming a dad for the first time.
Yes, Colclough was given the option to miss the big game when his partner went into labour before kick-off.
However, thinking he had plenty of time, the dad-to-be decided to play an hour of the game before heading to join the mother of his child in the hospital.
Ryan even managed to fit in two goals in the hour of play before being substituted off in the game against Doncaster yesterday.
Heading straight for the hospital, he managed to make it just in time to arrive for the birth of his son.
However, he didn’t have time to ditch his football kit before leaving which made for a pretty amusing picture.
