A US soldier was deployed to Afghanistan shortly after he got married. While he was there he found out he was going to become a father for the first time. One week later he was killed in a suicide bombing attack while he was on duty.
His funeral took place in August of this year.
Last week, his fellow soldiers decided to honour him by doing a gender reveal of his baby while still in Afghanistan. A large group of them gathered around with two use confetti canons to reveal the gender.
In the video they posted to YouTube, they said:
"August 2 2017 Chris Harris laid down his life for our country. His newly wed wife was expecting their first child. The reveal is in Afghanistan with the men who fought by his side. We are happy to welcome the new member of our company. Like and share if this makes you feel as good as it made us feel."
