We wish it was one of us…

The National Lottery announced this morning that someone from the Midlands scooped the top prize in the Lotto Plus 2 draw.

They took to Twitter to share the news:

“We have a winner! Congratulations to a player in Co Laois who is waking up this morning €250,000 better off after matching all six numbers and winning the top prize on last night’s Lotto Plus 2 draw!”

The winning ticket was sold in Supervalu Abbeyleix. The staff at the shop are absolutely delighted. They shared the news on their Facebook page last night and said:

“Get checking those tickets!!! We’ve sold a €250,000 ticket in tonights draw…..it could be you!!!!??”

“#irishlottery #wevegotawinner #itcouldbeyou #coulditbeyou.”

The all important winning numbers were 8, 12, 22, 23, 24, 26 and the bonus number was 27.

Check your tickets now guys, it could be you!

Unfortunately there was no winner of the €5 million jackpot or the top prize on Lotto Plus 1 last night.

But…

The good news is, Saturday’s jackpot is now set to be a mighty €6 million.

Fingers crossed you’ll win that one, would be nice wouldn’t it…
