Could it be you? Someone in Ireland just won €5.7m in the Lotto

Here's where the ticket was bought.

Not a bad way to start a Thursday.

If you played the Lotto last night, you had better check your ticket fairly lively – especially punters living in the capital.

There was one winner of last night’s Lotto jackpot, which was worth a tidy €5.7 million.

The winning numbers were 1, 15, 22, 27, 31, 34 and the bonus number was 42.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket was sold in the Dublin area.

It has yet reveal where exactly the ticket was picked up.

In the Lotto Plus draw, worth €1 million, the winning numbers were 5, 25, 30, 38, 39, 47 and the bonus ball was 45.

The winning numbers in the Lotto Plus 2 draw, meanwhile, were 3, 4, 10, 32, 33, 46. The bonus ball was 35. That draw was worth €250,000.

It comes a day after a Lotto player from the north side of Dublin collected winnings of over €1 million from Lotto HQ.

The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, bought his winning Quick Pick ticket at the Costcutter Express store in Phibsboro on 12 September.

“When I came into the Lotto HQ with my ticket, I genuinely thought that I would be told that I’d checked my ticket wrong or something and I didn’t win anything!” he told Dublin People newspaper.

“Even now that I have a cheque in my hand worth a million quid, I don’t think it’ll really hit home until all those lovely zeros appear in my bank account.”
