Stacey Solomon shares regrets on filming reality TV show following backlash
Stacey Solomon has opened up about her and Joe Swash’s TV show Stacey & Joe.
The mum has responded to claims she ‘regretted’ filming the series with her family.
Stacey & Joe is a fly-on-the-wall reality series that follows Stacey, Joe, and their family as they navigate their lives.
The series has gotten mixed reviews, with the final episode released on May 6th. Solomon gave thanks to her viewers for the support of the series on her social media:
“I just realised it’s the last episode tonight like it’s gone so quickly.”
“I just wanted to come on here quickly before it goes out and say thank you.”
“Your messages and all the things I get tagged in and all the comments and everything about the show have been so so lovely.”
However, according to The Sun, Stacey Solomon opens up about struggling with regrets about the show, following some negative reactions.
A source told them that Solomon regrets signing up to do the show.
The insider said:
“She’s not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold.”
Allegedly, Stacey Solomon was also concerned about how she and her husband, Joe, are perceived in their arguments.
The couple’s friend shared with the outlet:
“She feels like she is coming across as bossy. He can’t manage anything without her, so she is forced to be the ‘grown-up’. It’s caused friction.”
In one episode, the series witnessed Solomon get mad at Joe when he didn’t show up at an important meeting, which left her alone to take care of the kids.
All episodes of the six-part series are available now.
