Stacey Solomon’s request to expand €1.5 million Pickle Cottage rejected

Stacey Solomon purchased the €1.5 million house in 2021.

Stacey Solomon’s plans to extend her mansion have been rejected by the council, according to The Sun.

The mum-of-five and her husband Joe Swash applied to build a one-storey extension onto their Essex home, but the plans have been rejected.

The council rejected the proposal because the couple’s home is from the 16th century. This is the second time the couple has appealed for planning permission. It is also the second time the council has rejected their request.

Stacey and Joe purchased ‘Pickle Cottage’, which is actually a €1.5 million mansion in Essex, in 2021. The beautiful property is a Turdor-style mansion located in Essex.

The home has a swimming pool, gym, a huge drawing room, and even a conservatory.

It is also surrounded by 2.5 acres of land.

Stacey previously opened up about her home after admitting she was embarrassed about showing off the property, especially during the ongoing cost of living crisis.

“The house needs lots of love and TLC which I cannot wait to shower it with. But Pickle Cottage is going to be ours and we cannot wait,” she said after moving in.

Stacey and her family moved into their new home in March 2021.
