The animal lover passed away tragically at the age of 44 in 2006 after he was pierced in the heart by a stingray barb.

Now Terri, and his two children, Bindi Sue and Robert hope to continue the work he loved so much by carrying it on in his memory.

Their show Crikey! It’s the Irwins, named after Irwin’s famous catchphrase, will premiere this October on Animal Planet and I can not wait.

I grew up watching The Crocodile Hunter Diaries and can’t wait to see what the next generation of Irwins have in store when the show airs next month.

Steve’s daughter posted to her fans on social media;

“We can’t wait to share our story with you as we continue Dad’s important work.

This feels like a beautiful new life chapter. I hope to see you there.”

The post has received tens of thousands of like and thousands of comments from excited followers of Bindi and I expect the show will a huge success.
