Strictly Come Dancing are going to make Seann Walsh and Katya Jones’s next dance “less sexy.”
Producers are hoping to “tone down” the couple’s next performance after images emerged of the pair kissing while on a night out in London.
Walsh had allegedly told now ex-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries that she was “psycho/nuts/mental” for suggesting that there was anything going on between the pair.
A Strictly source told The Mirror that the couple will be looking “as sombre as possible” when they perform together this weekend.
They said:
“There was a feeling that the touchy feely dance they were doing was not appropriate given the circumstances.
“The new one is much more fitting – no one wants to see them looking too sexy together, or too happy, when their partners are hurting.”
Originally, the couple were supposed to be dancing the rumba, the tango, or the salsa but producers have apparently said that either of those would be inappropriate.
Jones will also be in a “less revealing” costume this weekend.
Following the circulation of the images, Humphries took to Twitter to share a powerful message about her relationship with Walsh.
She began her post by stating that she is “not a victim .”
“It’s incredibly good of Sean(n) and Katya to apologise in the media.
“I have received nothing, other than the support of my family, friends, and strangers on the internet who all wanted to make sure that I was OK.”
Humphries was praised online for her message by many including Stacey Solomon, Carol Vorderman, and Denise Welch.
Walsh and Jones have issued their own apologies via their own Twitter accounts, saying that they were “sorry” for any offence caused by the “drunken mistake.”
