But don’t put your umbrellas away just yet folks.
It’s not our most typical of Leaving Cert weather but it’s still decent, so fret not and do not despair. The weekend is expected to be warm but unpredictable.
Met Éireann has forcast heavy showers for tonight especially in the south and west which will continue on towards the north east. Temperatures of 11 to 12 degrees will keep us relatively warm.
Tomorrow we can expect sunshine throughout the afternoon but later, south-westerly winds will bring a band of showery weather for most of the evening and night. Highest temperatures will reach 17 to 21 degrees. Muggy to say the least.
Sunday will bring widespread, isolated showers by the afternoon but will pass by night except on Ireland’s west coast. However we can enjoy the sunshine for most of the day.
As for today, most places will remain dry with temperatures reaching up to 19 degrees in some parts along with light south-westerly breezes but outbreaks of rain will eventually reach Munster by this evening.
A right mixed bag we have on our hands, but there’s no excuse not to get out and enjoy the sunshine however patchy it may be. Happy Friday!
