Teenage pedestrian rushed to hospital with serious injuries after Offaly collision

A male teenager has been rushed to hospital after a road traffic collision in Tullamore, Offaly.

Gardaí were called to the scene of the collision between an SUV and the young male pedestrian yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 2.15 pm at Church Road, Tullamore.

The teenage pedestrian was rushed to Midland Regional Hospital in a serious condition.

According to reports, the driver of the SUV was uninjured in the accident.

Gardaí are urging witnesses to come forward.

“Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Gardaí are also appealing to any road users that may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at this time to make this footage available to Gardaí.
