The freak accident happened at a fairground in Dover.
A teenage boy has died after falling from a fairground ride in England.
The 19-year-old reportedly fell from the ride in Pencester Gardens, Dover.
Kent Police responded to the incident this morning, August 3rd.
Emergency services were also called to the scene to assist the boy. However, his injuries were fatal.
Paramedics pronounced the boy dead at the scene.
According to reports, the fairground was not due to open until midday today. It is not yet understood how the boy accessed the ride.
Kent Police issued a short statement after the boy’s tragic death.
“Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service to Pencester Gardens, Dover, at 7.45 am on Wednesday 3 August 2022.”
No suspicious circumstances have been reported, but an investigation is underway.
According to The Sun, the boy “slipped and fell” on the Body Count ride at the funfair.
The Health and Safety Executive is also assisting with the incident.
“HSE is currently assisting emergency services with their response.”
