They produced the hugely popular ‘Garda Down Under’ series which took an exclusive look at Irish gardaí who left home to pursue careers as crime fighters in Western Australia.
Now they are planning a new documentary series called ‘Families Down Under’ that will tell the story of ordinary Irish families who have moved to – or are in the process of emigrating to – cities in Australia.
Encore are keen to stress that it isn’t a reality series (phew!) but an engaging look at the real stories of families as they embark on the most exciting adventure of their lives.
