Television company seeks Irish families in Oz for new show

If 2016 is the year that you are planning to take the plunge and move the entire family Down Under, then this might be of some interest to you. Encore Media are an Irish company who specialise in producing programmes which feature real life and real people. They produced the hugely popular 'Garda Down Under' series which took an exclusive look at Irish gardaí who left home to pursue careers as crime fighters in Western Australia. Now they are planning a new documentary series called 'Families Down Under' that will tell the story of ordinary Irish families who have moved to - or are in the process of emigrating to - cities in Australia. Encore are keen to stress that it isn't a reality series (phew!) but an engaging look at the real stories of families as they embark on the most exciting adventure of their lives.
