Temperatures to drop below freezing tonight

HerFamily

If you thought the weekend so far was cold, you might need to warm up the hot water bottle and change into your thermal PJs.

That’s because tonight temperatures are going to drop to below zero.

According to Met Éireann, this evening will turn very cold with temperatures falling below freezing in many areas across Ireland.

There is a risk of severe frost and motorists should know that ice could form on untreated roads and paths.

Freezing fog is also a possibility as temperatures will be between 0 and -3 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow will be cold but the frost and fog is expected to clear, bringing showers and temperatures between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius.

So if you and your family are heading anywhere, please be extra careful and don’t forget to wrap up warm.
