Thank you to everyone who supported the amazing ISPCC Childline charity, as part of Electric Ireland Powering Kindness Week 2015.
We’ve watched the good deeds roll in, we’ve seen you get involved for such a worthy cause, we’ve laughed at the cutesy things you got up to on video, and we’ve waited with bated breath to hear how much has been raised. Your response has been awe-inspiring.
Busy mums, you took that only five-minute window you have in a day to help a neighbour, you filmed your kids doing kind deeds for their siblings, and you taught them the value of giving more time to others.
Because of your good deeds, Childline will receive €60,000 from Electric Ireland. A further €40,000 will be donated to The Marie Keating Foundation, and The Irish Heart Foundation will receive €30,000.
Thank you, thank you. You have given voices to children who shouldn’t be silenced. You’ll never know how you touched little people’s lives. Here’s two of our favourite deeds.
