The OA had fans instantly hooked from the moment it landed on Netflix in December 2016.

The first season of the sci-fi series followed a missing 20-something blind girl, Prairie Johnson, who came home to the community she grew up in with her sight restored.

Some hailed her a miracle, others a dangerous mystery.

We saw Praire go on a spiritual journey with five others and we learned about what happened her while she was missing for seven years.

Just a few weeks after the first season was released, Netflix announced that The OA would be coming back for a season two.

And…well, there hasn’t been many updates since. Until now, that is.

This week, Netflix unveiled the first trailer for season two of The OA – and it looks like it’s going to be even more dramatic.

When Part II begins, Prairie as she navigates a new dimension, one in which she had a completely different life as a Russian heiress – and one in which she once again finds herself as Hap’s captive.

The highly-anticipated follow-up introduces Karim Washington, a private detective tasked with finding a missing teen, Michelle Vu.

He crosses paths with OA (aka, Prairie) as they try and solve the mystery of Michelle’s whereabouts.

The pair also try and work out what’s happening at the house on Nob Hill, and its connection to the disappearance of several teenagers.

Meanwhile, back in the first dimension, BBA, Angie and the boys find themselves on a journey to understand the truth behind OA’s story and the incredible realities she described.

The second season – or, Part II as it is being called – will arrive on Netflix on March 22.
