We may book some flights and start looking for a place to live as the happiest country has been revealed and it’s not Ireland. (We’ll have to start smiling more.)
The Annual Prosperity Index, by The Legatum Institute, has put together a top 20 list of the most content countries in the world.
The findings are based on a number of variables including the quality of education, personal freedom and how rested residents feel (Us, rested? You’re kidding).

Norway came top followed by Switzerland and Denmark. The top five was finished off by New Zealand and Sweden.
Don’t worry, Ireland didn’t fare too badly. It claimed tenth place and beat the likes of Germany, Australia, Hong Kong and the United States.
While the results are interesting, we don’t think we’ll pack our bags and move halfway across the world just yet. Besides,there’s no place like home.
