When Princess Charlotte is baptised on Sunday, July 5, she will carry on a royal tradition that stretches back generations. Charlotte's ceremony will take place at St Mary Magdalene, Sandringham, the same church where her late grandmother Princess Diana was christened on August 30, 1961.
