Here we go.

Theresa May has told MPs that she will resign as prime minister once her Brexit deal has passed through the House of Commons.

The Conservative leader made the announcement at a meeting with the 1922 committee, reportedly saying: “I am prepared to leave this job earlier than I intended in order to secure a smooth and orderly Brexit.”

This does boost the chances of her deal passing through the Commons. However, she is still a significant margin away from gathering a majority in the House. Even with the support of Labour rebels and the conversion of the ERG, it looks like there will be a gap of around 50 MPs for her to bridge.
