Ever wondered what comes after the happy ever after with your favourite Disney princesses?
You know, after the castle wedding and the riding into the sunset on white horses or magic carpets? Well, now you don’t have to ponder this anymore.
Artist Isaiah Stephens has created a set of illustrations featuring Disney princesses as parents, and they’re pretty much the most perfect thing ever.

The images were originally created for a series in Cosmopolitan magazine for (American) Mother’s Day, but the illustrations have only increased in popularity since then. Each one features a well-known Disney princess in a scene typical of motherhood — breastfeeding, changing a diaper, and yes, even giving birth. Here are a few of our total favourites:

The mummy princesses give our favourite Disney stars a little more substance and reality, no? It’s like you can practically hear Aurora thinking that eternal slumber sure doesn’t seem so bad now, or Rapunzel yelling at her teens that they shouldn’t be moaning about having to be in by a certain time every night, because when she was their age, she was locked away in a tower!
But our absolute favourite? Is Elsa wearing yoga pants?! Yup, mamas, I’m pretty sure she is!
