Carla’s back.
Carla Connor is about to return to the Corrie cobbles with all the drama unfolding on Christmas Day.
Judging by the sneak peek released from producers, it’s all going to happen on the 25th December with Carla rocking up the bistro.
Wearing a Santa hats and armed with gifts, Carla is determined to spread some festive cheer but the Weatherfield residents aren’t too impressed.
Carla, Peter Barlow’s ex-wife, was the source of much drama during her previous stint on the soap and that’s why her imminent return is guaranteed to cause shockwaves.
Another character who’s pivotal to the Christmas Day episode is Peter for he’s determined to get revenge on Billy Mayhew, whom he believes had something to do with the death of his twin sister Susan.
Although we don’t know much more, it’s likely that Carla and Peter will cross paths and we’re very intrigued to see the outcome of that meeting.
It’s also been suggested that Carla id hiding a big secret as she makes her return and one thing is for sure, we will be glued to the TV on Christmas Day.
