While the average fifteen-year-old is quite content to hit the cinema and split a pizza with their mates to mark their birthday, everything really is bigger in Texas.

And personal injury lawyer dad Thomas J Henry pulled out all the stops to make sure his daughter’s Quinceañera was the biggest in the history… spending a whopping €5.4m to ensure that the celebrations were the best that money could buy.

San Antonio teen Maya Henry invited 600 of her closest friends to a star-studded bash in a purpose-built 55,000 square-foot venue – the brainchild of New York event planner David Monn.

Super stars Pitbull and Nick Jonas were on hand to entertain the privileged youngsters, while Maya danced the night away wearing two custom-made dresses designed by Rolando Santana.

Make-up was perfected by the Kardashian’s make-up artist Patrick Ta and the family, including the birthday girl and her mother Azteca, arrived in a fleet of nine Rolls Royces to the garden-themed party, styled complete with a fountain, walls of roses and 30ft cherry trees in full bloom.

A six-tier birthday cake iced in pale pink was festooned with sugar peonies and butterflies.

Maya regularly shares photos of herself with various celebrities with her 18,000 Instagram followers, but there’ll be no blurry snaps of the party to share on Facebook… the family hired none other than renowned photographer Donna Newman (who has also worked with First Lady Michelle Obama) to capture images of the night.
