This Galway teen just wowed the crowd on The Ellen Show

Good things happen to good people who work hard and believe in themselves. We know this because, well that’s what happened to Eimear.

Seventeen-year-old Eimear O’Tuathail from Galway sent Ellen a message saying she wrote her a song because basically, Ellen is her all-time favourite person. Can’t blame her for that one. Little did the teen think she’d find herself sitting on stage beside Ellen after being flown to LA to perform on the show. While chatting to Ellen she said;

“I really wanted to see a palm tree which I saw yesterday. “We have Starbucks back home but all they sell is the hot chocolate and coffee drinks… here you’ve got really fancy drinks like the pink drink, so I’m gonna try that tomorrow."

Like all of us, Eimear also wanted to nab herself some bargains over there which included an EOS lip balm that’s far cheaper in the US. On the ball she is. After taking to the stage to perform the song for her idol titled Hey Ellen, Eimear not only received a big applause, her pink drink and a basketful of that much sought-after lip balm, but also… wait for it… $10,000 to help cover her college costs! And here that can really sort out college! Good job talented lady!
