It’s official: There is no escaping from Disney’s Frozen.
During a committee hearing on US tariff policy last week, a Kansas Republican Senator’s phone started ringing, sending an unexpected tune echoing around the room.
The fact that Pat Roberts’ phone went off when it probably should be on silent is bad enough, but imagine how embarrassed the poor guy felt when his ringtone – Indina Menzel’s Let It Go – was revealed.
The almost 80-year-old might the last person you would have down as a Frozen fan but it just goes to show that nowhere is safe from Ice Queen Elsa.
At least the famous tune got a round of laughter from those in the meeting. We think the senator might even have cracked a little Let It Go joke too. Good recovery.
