This very famous dad just took an important stance on vaccinations

Mark Zuckerberg just got broke the Internet. Again.

The Facebook founder shared a sweet snap of himself and his baby daughter, Maxima, waiting in the doctor’s office for the tot’s first round of vaccinations.

Whether or not this was his intentions, by sharing the pic, the young billionaire told the world how he is pro vaccinations –and though  it’s not an official (or even very blatant) endorsement, Zuckerberg’s message appears to encourage parents to have their children vaccinated.

Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, a pediatrician, live in Northern California, where cases of measles, whooping cough, and other preventable diseases are spiking as “anti-vaxxer” sentiment grows. In an attempt to combat this, the state of California passed a law last June, requiring all children to get vaccinated before starting school.

Upon publishing the sweet snap, it didn’t take long for the Internet, as per usual, to start weighing in on the Facebook CEO’s post, with the majority of responses being positive, thanking the tech billionaire for “doing what’s right and also for showing everyone else that it’s the right thing to do as well.”

Little Maxima is the first child for Zuckerberg and Chan, and last December, the couple published a famous open letter expressing their desire for her to grow up in a “better world”:

“Once we recognize that your generation and your children’s generation may not have to suffer from disease, we collectively have a responsibility to tilt our investments a bit more towards the future to make this reality.”
