Lee Stafford, the popular hair care brand, has recalled thousands of its hair straighteners from the Coco Loco range.
It was found that electric leads have been pulled from the straightener at the swivel part of the tool. If someone were to come in contact with the leads, they could sustain an electric shock.

While further tests didn't find this issue, the company has issued an urgent recall in case any customers get injured.
Customers with the Coco Loco Straightener are asked to cease using it immediately.
According to
The Sun, a spokesperson for MPL, which licenses the Lee Stafford straighteners, has said:
"Customer safety is of paramount importance to MPL so despite only two reported incidents and being unable to replicate this issue in testing, it has taken the precaution of recalling all Coco Loco Straighteners in the batch in question."
