Three women have been killed and two children have been left seriously injured following separate road collisions on Mother’s Day.

Two women died following a head-on collision in Cork.

The women, aged in their 40s and 60s, both died after their vehicles collided on the N72 Killarney to Mallow road around 3.30pm.
