In recent weeks, we’ve had our fair share of warm, sunny weather so it comes as no surprise that today is set to be the hottest day of the year so far.
According to Met Éireann, temperatures are expected to reach 26 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country with sunny spells breaking through.
If you’ve had problems sleeping with the heat, you won’t want to hear that temperatures tonight are predicted to be around 14 degrees Celsius (we reckon duvets will be kicked off).
As for the rest of the week, Thursday will start of sunny but rain is due later in the day while Friday is expected to be wet and unsettled.
The weekend also looks set to be pretty unsettled but hey, you can’t have it all!
