A little boy has been rescued from a cliffside, three days after he vanished from home.

22-month-old Kenneth Howard disappeared from his back garden earlier on this week.

The toddler was found clinging to the side of a cliff and his survival is being called a miracle.

The Kentucky State Police released a statement revealing the good news;

 “Just before 2PM today the child was found alive in the area of a strip mine in Floyd County which is on the boarder of Magoffin Co. The child has been transported by EMS to a medical facility, for examination and treatment if needed.”

Locals in the American town are delighted and amazed at the young boy’s rescue as the area is treacherous and home to several species of wild animals. The little boy had also been without food.

The Howard family are overjoyed at the return of their son and thanked all those involved in his recovery.
