The eight amendment equates the right to life of the unborn with the right to life of the mother.
Love Both, the campaign working to retain the eighth amendment, began their funding a few months ago.
Campaign spokesperson John McGuirk recently told a Save the 8th meeting that they had reached their target of €400,000.
The referendum will take place on May 25.
