Tom Hanks is spending Christmas with his family

Chet shared the snap with Tom on his Instagram, the two looking cosy as they wrapped up in puffy coats and hats to beat the winter chill.

"Gang," Chet simply wrote in his caption.

The actor star has never before appeared on Chet's Instagram page until this picture. However, The Empire actor did show his mother Rita Wilson some affection in May.

"The biggest G I know @ritawilson love you, mom," the 33-year-old captioned beside a picture of him and Rita flaunting their arm around each other while wearing sunglasses.

Tom shares Chet with his wife, Rita Wilson. The actor and singer couple also share another son, Truman Theodore, 28.

The 67-year-old is also dad to Colin Hanks, 45, and Elizabeth Hanks, 41, from his nearly 10-year marriage to the late actress Samantha Lewes.

Though you may think having famous parents would help to kick start any career you could dream of, Chet has insisted that he wasn't raised as a "spoiled brat".

In a 2022 YouTube video, he said, "I'm very privileged, but I wasn't spoiled.

"My parents didn't spoil me; I was never just given money or an allowance. I had to work and earn everything that I've made, and it's been that way for my entire life."
