Toys R Us has just announced a massive closing down sale

Everything must go.

Sad times.

Toys R Us has announced the closure of over 25 of its stores in Ireland and the UK. The closure of these stores comes due to the retailers growing debt and financial struggles.

And in a bid to shift stock, the store has announced 30 percent off everything in selected stores and off specific lines online.

One of the stores which will see a massive reduction in all lines ahead of closing this spring, is the toy chain’s store in Belfast.

The store located on the Mill Road will see a massive clear out at bargain prices as everything must go.

Over 900 items have also been reduced online in a massive toy clearance from children’s car seats and buggys to action figures and Barbie dolls.

Toys R Us is also planning to turn existing locations into smaller shops as well as relaunching the website.

An estimated 800 jobs are at risk due to the closure of these stores, with other locations closing before April 2018 including: York, Plymouth, Bolton, Bradford and Birmingham.
