A young man has died following a single vehicle collision this morning in Co Donegal.
A garda spokesperson told the Irish Independent that emergency services were called to the scene on a road at Cottian near Kilmacrennan at approximately 1.40am.
“The occupant of the van, a 21-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny General Hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.” the spokesperson said.
The scene has been preserved for Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and traffic diversions are in place.
