The immersive experience returns to Dublin Zoo.

Dublin Zoo has announced the theme for Wild Lights this year and it sounds incredible.

Visitors will enjoy the magical and immersive experience this winter with the exciting new theme-  ‘The Magic of Life’.

The aim of this year’s Wild Lights is to highlight the importance of biodiversity. The Wild Lights team wants to raise awareness about the millions of plants and animal species that are now threatened by extinction.

Following a magical journey through Dublin Zoo, guests will get the opportunity to see breathtaking lanterns showcasing some of the most fascinating plant and animal communities and ecosystems on our planet.

Due to the ongoing energy crisis, this year’s Wild Lights will operate without impacting on the national energy supply.

The 2022 Wild Lights event will be taken off the energy grid and will be powered by hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), derived from 100% renewable raw materials.
