Fergal announced the news last night.
While they may have been beloved fan favourites on the
Irish edition of Gogglebox, twins Fergal and Neal Tully have parted ways with the fly-on-the-wall series.
Taking to Twitter to announce their departure, Fergal wrote: "It's with a heavy heart to announce that myself and Neal will not be on gogglebox in the near future."
In true Fergal fashion, his tweet was not without humour. He added: "I could not bring myself to watch tonight as it's like watching your ex shifting your best buddy in the local nightclub."

The identical twins, who hail from rural Cavan, have been on the show since it debuted in 2016. In the past, Neal said he lives his life through the four 'Fs' - football, family, friends and Fianna Fáil. Fergal, on the other hand, lives his life through just one 'F' - farming.
Fans of the Tully twins took to the Fergal's replies to share that they were sad to see them go.
One wrote: "Will miss ye. Especially your comments on The All Ireland where hopefully Mayo will win."
Another said that they would miss the twins' penchant for "pints and socks".
For the uninitiated, Gogglebox is a global TV franchise where cameras record the reactions of armchair critics as they catch up on the most popular TV of the week.
Last night saw the first episode of the latest series of the Irish franchise, and while many were dismayed to see Neal and Fergal leave, the return of
two fan favourites delighted viewers as well.
In the previous season, Covid-19 restrictions meant that some of the regular cast members were unable to get together to film, but things appear to be largely back to normal now.
Viewers were particularly delighted to see the return of Tadgh and his grandmother Ettie. Many were taken aback by how much Tadgh - who was a teenager when the show began - had grown.
