Spencer Matthews has opened up about why he believes his wife, Vogue Williams, is an ‘extraordinary woman’, gushing about how proud he is to be her husband.
The former Made in Chelsea star and Irish TV personality have been married since June 2018 and now share three children: Theodore, Gigi, and Otto.
The pair also hosted their own podcast, Spencer & Vogue; however, Spencer left the show last year to focus on other projects, leading Vogue to bring her sister, Amber Wilson, on board and rebrand it as the Vogue & Amber podcast.
Many speculated that Spencer’s exit from the podcast meant the couple were on the rocks; however, his recent praise of Vogue quickly shut down those rumours, proving that it couldn’t be further from the truth.
Speaking to Gary Fox on The Entrepreneur Experiment podcast, Spencer opened up about giving up drinking at the start of his relationship with Vogue, having previously been very open about his struggles with alcohol addiction.
"I’ve always wanted to be better for her, you know?" Spencer said, "I think she’s an extraordinary woman. She’s brave, and she works so hard. She’s flat out.
"She’s an incredible mother. You should talk to her about how she finds time to work so hard and be present for her three kids, because I’m not as good at that as she is. I work hard at the detriment of time with my family.
"She does both. I feel privileged and proud that she’s my wife."
The clip was shared to Instagram, and fans were quick to praise Spencer's sweet words in the comments.
One wrote: "Love how he talks about her," while another added: "Honestly, love the way he loves his wife. Relationship goals."
Vogue also commented, gushing: "Ahhhhh, that might have made me cry. Thank you, Spenno."
