Vogue Williams became the third celebrity to leave the jungle during Monday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, and she’s spoken out on what she believes to be the reason behind her exit.
Viewers were very disappointed to see Vogue leave the show, blaming her exit on the fact that people in Ireland are unable to vote to save their favourite celebrities from elimination.
In a new interview with the Daily Mail, Vogue appeared to agree.
“I don’t think it was helpful that Ireland couldn’t vote,” she told the outlet.
“I was going to just have a great experience and get as far as I could and be a part of such an epic show, like, it’s a brilliant show.
“But had Ireland been allowed to vote, it probably would have been maybe slightly better for me.
“There were loads of family and friends that couldn’t vote for me and, yeah, a lot of people that couldn’t vote because they’re over there.”
She’s not the only one who felt like this, with many fans having shared similar sentiments.
People were quick to flood the comments on a post announcing her exit on Instagram, with one fan writing: “Loved Vogue in there, she was amazing at the trials! Yet again, disappointing af that we can’t vote in Ireland.”
Another commented: “Raging! Please start letting Ireland vote.”
“That’s what happens when Ireland can’t vote! Should open the votes to the UK and Ireland if there are Irish contestants! She was amazing,” a third wrote.
After being eliminated from the show, Vogue described her jungle experience as “life-changing”, adding that she’d love to see Tom Read Wilson win the show.
