Another friend wrote: "Tonight we hear the sad news of my friend Jordan Stunbar (Jordan Dunbar) passed away, always had something lovely to say when we saw each other. A young LGBT man who had a passion for style and hairdressing.
"Such a lovely genuine person. Rest in peace Jordo."
Another friend said: "Really saddened to hear that an old friend from Dublin, Jordan Dunbar (or Stunbar, as he’s gone by for the better part of a decade) has passed away.
"Truly a fantastic and lovely human being who will be sorely missed."
A third wrote: "This just does not even feel right or real to be reading this. You will be missed Jordo.
"Hairdressing will never be the same without you or your crazy, creative, uniqueness, positive, sociable self. Rest in paradise pal."
Also sharing their heartbreak over the sad news, COCO Content, the production company behind First Dates Ireland, shared a statement saying: "Our hearts our broken with the death of Jordan Dunbar, such a talented and beautiful person.
"We first met him on First Dates and he went on to present My Yellow Brick Road on RTE. He was a joy to work with and it was a privilege to know him. Deepest sympathy to all who loved him."
RTE bosses added: "We are very sad to hear of the death of Jordan Dunbar. Jordan featured on First Dates Ireland and was also a presenter on the series My Yellow Brick Road.
