It just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

TV3 has confirmed that it will change its name later this year, when it rebrands to Virgin Media Television. The company, which is owned by Virgin Media, announced the name change as part of its Spring 2018 schedule update.

Included in the announcement today, was Ireland’s Got Talent, the return of Red Rock and The Restaurant.

Ireland’s Got Talent, which starts in February, will be presented by Lucy Kennedy with judges Louis Walsh, Michelle Visage, Jason Byrne and Denise Van Outen. There’s a spin-off show with James Kavanagh and Glenda Gilson which sounds equally as entertaining.

Red Rock returns, on January 22, with 13 brand new episodes, as will the critically acclaimed Smalltown, starring Pat Shortt.

The Restaurant returns for a brand new season and this year Rachel Allen is joining the line-up.
