Heartbreaking.
A two-year-old boy has passed away after he was hit by a car in Bray, Co Wicklow.
RTÉ report that the incident happened at Silverbridge at 4.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
The boy was taken to Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin, where he was pronounced dead.
The publication report that the driver of the car was not injured.
The scene has been sealed off and is to be examined by garda forensic investigators this morning.
