Kat O'Connor

Dozens of children have been injured in falls.

UPPAbaby has issued a recall after numerous incidents involving their RumbleSeat accessory adapter.

It is understood that the adapter, which is used to attach a seat to a stroller has caused approximately 135 accidents.

According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, the adapters can detach, posing a fall hazard to the child in the RumbleSeat.

Of the 135 accidents, 77 children were injured and two even broke their noses.

It is believed 86,000 adapters were sold by the brand since 2014.

The recalled adapters were only sold with RumbleSeat Models 0252, 0917, and 0918. Check the underside of the RumbleSeat to find the model number.

The faulty adapters have a black tab and can be easily replaced. The company has vowed to send replacements to parents and apologised profusely for the harm caused.
