The students of St. Helen Catholic School came out in force to give brave John Oliver a standing ovation as he walked the halls on his way to class.

According to Fox 9 the students and staff at the school felt the loss of John Oliver when he wasn’t at school and are absolutely elated to have him back and healthy.

School principal Patrick Gannon was quoted as saying;

“Him having to miss some of the time was tough, but the class was just so happy to see him come back.”

Since it was first uploaded the heartwarming video of John Oliver’s welcome back to school has gone viral around the world with hundreds leaving comments of support;

“What a brave boy going through what he had gone through with his cancer treatment. Thank God he has recovered!
May God bless this little boy and May he go forward and have a wonderful beautiful life!”

“As a leukemia survivor myself this is inspirational. Way to go and see him so proud that he beat it!”

“You are the strongest person I know off. Great win for the little man.”

“What an awesome celebration for such a brave young man.”

While there may not be standing ovations every day at St. Helen Catholic School I’m sure all the students and staff will feel that every day is a win just having John Oliver back happy and healthy.
