Vogue Williams has hit back at online trolls who said she was 'wasting taxpayers' money' as Grand Marshal for this year's St Patrick's Day parade.
Williams led the annual parade through Dublin, which drew over half a million revellers.
However, not everyone was happy with the Howth native taking on the role as Grand Marshal, with one troll online claiming Vogue ''leeches off men for money and exposure'.
Vogue clapped back at the haters, revealing she wasn’t paid to be Grand Marshal and admitting she even dreads going on the Late Late Show because of the nasty online comments.
Speaking to Joanne McNally on My Therapist Ghosted Me, Vogue said: "Holy Jesus. I mean, I don't even like doing the Late Late that much, because I just don't like the abuse that comes with it. But this is like tenfold.
"I would like to clear something up. I did two days of work for the Grand Marshall job because it is an honour to do that for our country, and I was honoured to be asked, there was no payment involved. It's something that you just do. The St Patrick's Day Festival is a charity, so you do it without getting paid for it."
Vogue went on to say the day was 'exhausting', saying she was in bed by 6 pm on St Patrick's night.
"I was absolutely wrecked by the edge of it. It was two hours. I'd been smiling so much I drank loads of water because I had some water in the back of the car, and then I had drunk so much water that I was like, I'm gonna probably p*** my pants now as well at the same time.
"But because you're smiling the whole time and waving, and it made me think, I am glad I'm not a member of the royal family. I couldn't do that every day. It's absolutely exhausting to be on your best behaviour. You can't even look at your phone or anything. You have to be on your best behaviour for two full hours.'
She even said that during the parade, one punter in the crowd told her to 'take her top off', adding: "I said, there'd be no point."
