RTÉ has announced their new Washington Correspondent

Great choice!

As Caitriona Perry has departed her role as RTÉ Washington Correspondent, to present the RTÉ Six One News with Keelin Shanley, it left people wondering who would take over the post. RTÉ News has just announced that journalist Brian O'Donovan will be the new Washington Correspondent. Brian has worked with the national broadcaster since 2015, reporting on both television and radio. Before he joined the company he worked for Red FM in his home city of Cork. He is due to start his new role in 2018.
